Porcelain vs Zirconia Veneers
This is the aesthetics versus durability question. Feldspathic and pressed porcelain give you the light behavior of natural enamel. Zirconia gives you strength that is hard to break. Porcelain is the better material for visible front teeth because it transmits light like natural enamel and bonds predictably to preserved tooth structure. Zirconia is stronger but more opaque and usually requires removing more tooth. If you grind, the answer is porcelain plus bite correction and a night guard, not a harder ceramic.
